Get to know the pieces
A typical Kubb set contains a king, ten blocks, six throwing batons and markers. Check the actual contents before buying. Set up two opposing baselines with the king between them. For a casual introduction, reduce the distance while keeping the playing area clear of spectators.
The idea of the game
Teams take turns trying to knock down the opposing blocks with underarm throws. Fallen blocks are returned to the other half and become part of the next challenge. The king is the final target.
